Vetted patent attorneys and patent agents in active matter rotation
Distinct technology practice areas, each with senior coverage
U.S. metropolitan areas represented across the network
+ additional firms across all major technology disciplines
Membership criteria are written. They are applied uniformly. They are not negotiated. The four standards below describe the firm — not any particular attorney — and govern admission as well as continued membership. Every applicant is reviewed against every criterion.
The process is deliberate. Every applicant is reviewed by the same team against the same criteria. Decisions are documented. Member firms re-attest annually.
Membership is not perpetual. Each member firm re-attests to the standards above on the anniversary of admission. A change in good standing, malpractice coverage, or staffing depth requires immediate written notice. Tradespace reserves the right to suspend matter routing pending review.
Tradespace classifies every member attorney by primary technology area at the time of admission, validated against undergraduate degree, advanced degree, prior industry experience, and prosecution history. The result is a network in which any incoming matter can be staffed by a senior attorney whose technical training matches the disclosure — not adjacent to it.
Membership is not a referral list. Tradespace pre-qualifies every matter, captures the technical disclosure, and routes work to the member firm whose technology classification, geography, and capacity best fit the file.
The founding cohort of member firms has been admitted and is in active matter rotation. We are not currently accepting open applications. Firms interested in being considered for the next cohort are invited to join the waitlist below — Tradespace will reach out individually to those firms whose practice profile and timing align with the next intake.
Joining the waitlist is non-binding. It places a firm in the queue for the credential review described above. A member of the Tradespace counsel-network team responds within five business days to confirm receipt and indicate timing for the next cohort.
